Better Business Bureau at Fort Worth Announces 2008 Integrity Award and CEF Scholarship Winners

Fort Worth, TX – The Better Business Bureau at Fort Worth announced today the winner of the 2008 Integrity Award Winner—Team 3 Homes based in Southlake, TX.

This annual award is given to a business that consistently exemplifies the BBB’s mission of promoting ethics through excellence in customer satisfaction, employee training, high industry standards and community involvement.

Team 3 Homes has promoted business ethics since its inception in 1994. A company steeped in the building trades for three generations, the founders, Neil DiGiammatteo and Patti Hanson, are inspired daily by the memory of their grandfather’s commitment to craftsman excellence.

“Team 3 Homes’ focus is always on the customer, providing exemplary service, delivering on the promise, and building unsurpassed quality into every home,” said, Patti Hanson. “We believe that this effort serves to enhance the overall homebuilding industry’s reputation,” added Hanson.

Separately, the Consumer Education Foundation, a philanthropic endeavor of the Better Business Bureau at Fort Worth, sponsors a college scholarship for a high school student in the eight-county area served by the Bureau. Cameron Taylor of Crowley High School is the 2008 recipient. Taylor is active in Junior Achievement, Boy Scouts of America and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Both awards were presented at the Bureau’s Annual Dinner and Silent Auction on September 25th.

The Better Business Bureau at Fort Worth is a not-for-profit agency providing education and information on businesses and business standards. Additionally, they serve consumers by helping to resolve consumer complaints regarding businesses. The Fort Worth Bureau serves Tarrant, Johnson, Hood, Wise, Parker, Erath, Somervell, and Palo Pinto Counties.
